As the Front Desk Receptionist/Intake Assistant, you will partner with families and staff by communicating with positivity, kindness, and compassion. For the position of Front Desk Receptionist/Intake Assistant, we are looking for an individual who is interested in childcare, enjoys clerical work, and is excited to grow with the company. You will help to ensure that the children (and families) remain our focus and that their best interests are at the heart of every decision we make! The successful candidate will need to be:

Overview of core job functions:
Office tasks such as answering and forwarding calls, filing and maintaining files, computer work, creating/printing/copying/faxing documents
Customer service tasks such as greeting people as they enter the program and fielding questions
Building beautification such as updating bulletin boards and maintaining the cleanliness of common areas
Assisting in the planning, preparation, and execution of engagement and other events
Other tasks, as deemed appropriate, by leadership
Examples of tasks commonly completed:
Monitoring the front door/greeting and screening families and visitors before allowing them entrance to the building
Answering the business phone line, forwarding calls, and taking/distributing messages
Creating enrollment flyers, classroom newsletters, and other promotional/informational materials and distributing them to the appropriate parties
Updating bulletin boards and seasonal decorations throughout the building
Assist in using company specific technology and programs (training provided)
Attend required company outreach events
Update student and family information and files annually
Sending and retrieving mail
Completing reference checks for perspective teachers/staff members
Required Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School diploma or higher
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen, as required by the state
- Experience in an office setting (childcare/childcare setting experience is a bonus)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including the use of Google Suites, Adobe, and Canva
