What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Runner/Barback position at The Tortilla Project?
Friday and Saturday nights available. Shifts star at 4 pm and end at closing.
Duties:
- Deliver food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Greet customers when they arrive and walk them to their table
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare fresh squeezed juices and cocktail mixers for service
- Bus tables, clear empty dishes and glassware from tables
- Knowledge of our menu and cocktails
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized dining room
Experience:
- Previous experience working in the catering, hospitality, or food service industry (preferred)- Knowledge of basic math skills for measuring ingredients- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers
