Position: Calibration Technician.

Job Responsibilities

As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing precise dimensional measurements using advanced tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), and optical comparators.
  • Calibrating instruments and equipment according to established standards and procedures.
  • Documenting calibration results and maintaining detailed records in compliance with regulatory and quality assurance requirements.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting measurement discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Maintaining and organizing calibration equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Adhering to industry standards and safety protocols while performing all tasks.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in metrology or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in dimensional measurement or calibration roles.
  • Proficiency with measurement instruments and calibration techniques.
  • Strong mathematical skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and calibration best practices is a plus.
