What We Look For In a Food Runner

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability to work mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and weekdays as needed
  
  

What You Will Do As a Food Runner

• Carry the order in hand or on a tray to the table and serve the plates to the customer
• Assist chefs with expediting orders, including assembly, garnishing, and inspecting the food dishes for quality and visual appeal
• Read the food ticket, pick up plates, and organize them in hand or on a tray for delivery to the tables
• Remove dirty plates, glasses, and utensils from tables and deliver them to the dishwashing station
• Notify the expediter of other tables ready to be served
• Replenish the stations with product and supplies including hot water, brewed coffee beans, tea, milk, utensils, plates, bread, butter, jellies, and other garnishes and condiments
• Break down and clean work area, store perishable products, clean equipment and supplies, and restock to end-of-day par levels
