What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House – Host/Hostess position at The Tomato Head?
This role is based out of our Downtown Knoxville location! The Host warmly greets all customers at the door, welcoming them to the Tomato Head. Host responsibilities also include:
- Seating customers
- Balancing customers among all servers
- Managing the waitlist and wait times
- Answering telephone
- Taking reservations
- Helping customers with to-go orders
- Communicating with servers and floor manager
The typical path of advancement is to become a host trainer, support staff or server.
