HomeSense is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Part-Time Backroom Processing Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll help ensure merchandise is processed efficiently and accurately while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe backroom environment.

Part-Time | Backroom Processing Monday Through Sunday
Morning Shift
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Evening Shift
4:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Mid-November Through Christmas
4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Applicants should be comfortable working a flexible schedule, including weekends and holiday periods.

Part-Time Backroom Processing Associate – HomeSense
Holiday Hiring
HomeSense is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Part-Time Backroom Processing Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll help ensure merchandise is processed efficiently and accurately while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe backroom environment.
What You’ll Do
- Process incoming merchandise efficiently and accurately
- Unpack, sort, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor
- Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
- Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient backroom
- Follow established merchandising and processing procedures and standards
- Move merchandise from the backroom to the sales floor as needed
- Assist with maintaining merchandise flow throughout the store
- Follow recycling and, where applicable, hazardous waste procedures
- Support store shrink-reduction goals and programs
- Follow all labor laws, company policies, and procedures
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow all safety procedures
- Work cooperatively with fellow Associates and Management
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player who works effectively with peers and supervisors
- Comfortable working in a physically active environment
- Capable of lifting and moving merchandise with or without reasonable accommodation
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Previous retail or backroom experience is preferred, but not required
