What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Party Leader position at The Tiny Scientist?
We are looking for Weekend Science Party Leaders!
Are you a fun, outgoing, intelligent person who likes working with kids and knows how to BRING THE FUN? We are a science-based program operating in Brooklyn, offering engaging hands-on science "edu-tainment" parties during the weekends. We need intelligent, responsible, organized, friendly staff to help make kids happy on their birthday - and do some jaw-dropping experiments along the way!
We need party leaders & assistants available for at least 1 day each weekend. This is an ideal position for someone who is a current college/graduate student looking to supplement his/her income. We need people to help create an upbeat and welcoming environment, hand out materials, assist with clean up and generally help Party Leaders, Parents and Kids have a great time!
Leaders Must:
- Be able to help create an upbeat and welcoming environment.
- Be able to lead science experiments with groups of up to 25 kids with a SMILE!
- Be punctual, organized, good at multi-tasking, self-motivated, and be an EXCELLENT PARTY ANIMAL!
- Coordinate details of a party with parents/ party coordinator.
This job has growth potential, we are expanding quickly and always looking for great people to add to our team! Great for Drama Majors/ Actors/ College and Grad Education Majors and FUN LOVING NERDS!
