- Coordination with Headquarters – Enterprise Information Security & Architecture team as necessary and beneficial for all related and applicable requirements (below).
- Assure NISPOM security requirements are implemented.
- Establish, document, maintain, and monitor security policies and procedures.
- Interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations; providing clear and ongoing guidance to company employees and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate. Conduct ongoing and periodic security education and training.
- Manage personnel and facility clearances, debriefs, badging, tracking, reporting and education.
- Administer day-to-day security programs: personnel processing, program reviews, access control, surveillance, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs, visit certifications, manage access to restricted areas of facilities, and track secure assets.
- Identify and document potential threats, security incidents and vulnerabilities, and assure suitable risk mitigation solutions are implemented.
- Support company requirements for CMMC, NIST 800-171 and other government programs and guidelines to assure adequate practices and controls are implemented and continuously monitored for effectiveness.
- Assure effectiveness of facility procedures for handling media and equipment containing classified information, implementing security features, incident reporting, user acknowledgment of responsibility, and threat detection, including auditing and monitoring for malware attacks, phishing attempts, and other threats.
- Oversee physical controls at all facilities, including emergency protocols.
- Travel to company and third-party facilities for site assessments, training, and other support activities as required.
- Experience with applicable security policies, regulations and systems.
- In-depth familiarity with Computer networking, data backup, disaster recovery, intrusion detection, and risk management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Security Management, Criminal Justice or a related discipline, Master's degree preferred.
- Personal Clearance (PCL) - preferred at the top secret level.
- A minimum of 7 years of prior experience in security management, or 15 years of prior experience in security management in lieu of degree.
- US Citizenship required.
This position may require access to United States export controlled technical data (“CTD”) and hardware under the Departments of US State (ITAR) and/or Commerce (EAR). Eligible candidates are; US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees or others eligible to receive US export license authorizations. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
