What You'll Do
Financial Accounting & Reconciliations
- Prepare, maintain, and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring the accuracy of prepaids, accruals, and recurring journal entries.
- Research and resolve outstanding reconciling items while providing explanations for account variances.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Monitor and reconcile daily cash activity.
- Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
- Record and maintain fixed asset transactions, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
- Track capital expenditures and identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
- Manage the corporate credit card program.
- Administer the Concur expense reporting system and support employees with related processes.
- Maintain the integrity and structure of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
- Ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting across the organization.
- Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, financial reporting, acquisitions, and key business projects.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements that increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Support additional accounting and finance initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with JD Edwards ERP software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with leadership teams and cross-functional partners.
- Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
