Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer – Schematic Capture & PCB Design
Location: Addison, TX (Onsite)
We're hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to support end-to-end electronic hardware design for a leading engineering services client. This role covers schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware validation for analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform circuit design and schematic capture for analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics
- Develop PCB layouts meeting electrical, thermal, EMC/EMI, and manufacturability requirements
- Support prototype builds, board bring-up, debugging, and root cause analysis
- Create technical documentation (design docs, test procedures, qualification reports)
- Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering teams
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field
- 5 years of hardware design experience
- Hands-on experience with Cadence Allegro or OrCAD (mandatory)
- Experience with Altium Designer is a plus
- Multi-layer PCB design and signal integrity knowledge
- Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, DMMs
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred:
- Aerospace, defense, medical device, or automotive electronics background
- EMI/EMC design experience
- DO-160 familiarity
- FPGA/embedded hardware exposure.
Salary : $130,000
