Compensation:
Starting pay is $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, based on experience.

Position Summary:
The Criminal Legal Assistant will support attorneys in handling criminal matters. This role requires managing a high volume of administrative tasks while acting as a primary point of contact for clients. The ideal candidate is organized, able to multitask, and comfortable working with sensitive and confidential information.
Key Responsibilities:

Answer and manage high-volume incoming calls from clients and potential clients

Provide information and quote legal fees for criminal cases

Assist attorneys with case preparation, file management, and documentation

Perform data entry and maintain accurate client records

Coordinate with clients regarding case status, court dates, and required documents

Handle clerical criminal case work and general administrative duties

Provide direct day-to-day support to attorneys
