Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Psychotherapist based in Middlebury, CT, with opportunities for remote work. The Psychotherapist will provide individual, couples, and family counseling, support mental health initiatives, and work collaboratively to create personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, offering therapy sessions, documenting progress, and staying updated on best practices in psychotherapy. The role supports a balance of in-office and at-home work to cater to both client needs and clinician flexibility.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Psychology, Counseling, and Mental Health treatment approaches
- Experience in Relationship Counseling and family dynamics
- Knowledge of Medicine as it pertains to mental health and therapeutic practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client rapport
- Valid licensure as an LPC/LPC-A, LMFT/LMFT-A, LCSW/LMSW, or similar credential (or eligibility for licensure in Connecticut)
- Ability to create and maintain professional and confidential relationships with clients
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practices
