Position Summary: We are seeking a dependable, experienced Kitchen Manager / Grill Cook to oversee daily kitchen operations while preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment. This role combines hands-on cooking with kitchen leadership and requires strong organization, food safety knowledge, and the ability to maintain consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency throughout each shift.
· Manage day-to-day kitchen operations and assist in leading back-of-house staff.
· Prepare grill items, sandwiches, and other menu offerings according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation expectations.
· Plan and execute a daily special as directed by management.
· Monitor food prep, portioning, and ticket flow to ensure timely service.
· Oversee slicing of meats and cheeses to meet daily production needs.
· Prepare sauces, specialty items, and other ingredients needed for daily operations, including items such as alfredo and au jus.
·· Maintain proper inventory levels and communicate restocking needs promptly.
· Assist with food ordering and coordinate supply needs.
· Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, equipment cleaning, and fryer oil changes as needed.
· Inspect and help maintain kitchen equipment to support safe and efficient operations.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department
Compensation depends on experience
