We are looking for a Survey Crew Chief with experience and enthusiasm to join our Bridgeport, WV survey team. If you are someone that thrives in a fast-paced work environment and looks at tasks with a “can-do” attitude, then check out the job duties below.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Operate Trimble survey equipment when performing surveys
- Conduct field survey work relating to boundary, ALTA/ACSM land title & topographic surveys, and construction stakeouts.
- Adhere to deadlines and project schedule when conducting survey services
- Read plans and produce accurate mathematical and geometric calculations, as needed
- Provide documentation of time and project outcomes regularly via electronic reporting.
- Take detailed notes and accurately collect and report survey data.
To be successful in this position, you will bring;
- 2 – 3 years of survey crew chief experience
- Experience leading a survey crew is highly desired.
- Skilled in the use GPS devices and data collectors.
- Work requires independent judgement and initiative.
- Knowledge in the principles, techniques, and practices of land surveying.
- Ability to work outside, in rugged terrain environments for extended periods of time in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
- Schedule flexibility, including the ability to work some evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver license.
