What are the responsibilities and job description for the Immigration Legal Assistant position at The Thomas & Associates Law Firm, LLC?
Our firm is in need of another immigration paralegal in our Winder office. We need someone who has plenty of experience with Immigration law! They also need to be fluent in speaking and reading Spanish!
The paralegal will be paid between $15.00 to $30.00 per hour. Pay depends on experience and demonstrated skill at the interview. If you make it blatantly obvious on your resume and at the interview the you eat, breath, and sleep all things Immigration law, your pay will be between $20 to $30 per hour. Your knowledge of Immigration law, your ability to type, and ability to translate will be tested at the interview.
You will be responsible for answering phone calls from Spanish speaking clients.
You will be responsible for collecting evidence from clients. You will be responsible for translating documents from Spanish to English. You will be responsible for filling out immigration documents accurately. You will be responsible for filing immigration documents in a timely manner. You will also add all immigration matters to the firm's calendar.
