Located in Statesboro, GA, we offer a range of therapies, including speech, feeding, physical, and occupational therapy, as well as aquatic therapy through a partnership with Splash in the Boro Aquatic Center. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role at The Therapy SPOT, located in Statesboro, GA. The position involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating children with speech, language, and communication disorders. Responsibilities include creating and implementing individualized therapy plans, collaborating with families and other therapy professionals, maintaining accurate documentation, and monitoring progress to ensure positive outcomes for each child. The Speech Language Pathologist will work within a supportive, collaborative environment to help children achieve their communication and developmental goals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy and evaluating/implementing therapy sessions
- Experience and knowledge in addressing Speech, Communication Disorders, and Dysphagia
- Familiarity with Language Disorders and ability to develop individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with families and colleagues
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Georgia
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred
- Experience in pediatric therapy or working with children is highly valued
