Role Description
Texas Mortgage Pros is seeking a driven and experienced Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) for a remote position based in Spring, Texas. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional looking to grow their pipeline, strengthen referral partnerships, and provide clients with a high-level lending experience.
Responsibilities include originating residential mortgage loans, analyzing borrower financials, recommending loan solutions, managing loan applications from pre-approval to closing, and maintaining compliance with all lending guidelines and regulations. The Mortgage Loan Originator will also build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, referral partners, and clients while utilizing company technology and support systems to streamline production and communication.
Qualifications
- Active Texas Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license required
- Proven experience in mortgage lending and loan origination
- Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines, loan products, and mortgage regulations
- Ability to analyze financial documents and structure loan scenarios effectively
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency with mortgage CRM systems, LOS platforms, and digital communication tools preferred
- Established referral network or business development experience is a plus
- Motivated professional with a growth mindset and strong organizational skills
