What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floor Tech position at The Terrace Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility?
The Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility is seeking a Floor Care Technician to assist our team! This is a full-time position with a Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm shift.
Responsibilities:
- Recognize and respond to facility emergencies, and document observations, interventions and outcomes.
- Complete forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc. to assure control of equipment and supplies.
- Meet with the Housekeeping Supervisor to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas.
- Knowledge of operating power equipment for maintenance and upkeep of floors.
- Provides assistance with any outside cleaning chores, which may include sweeping sidewalks, and picking up trash.
- Report disrepair of equipment, supplies, etc.
Requirements:
- Floor care experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
