Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Branch 3 Applicator role based in Ventura County CA. The Termite Applicator is responsible for following work order instructions and properly treating based on the recommendation. Daily tasks include applying approved termite treatments, drilling and injecting chemicals where needed, and using hand and power tools to support wood repair work under the direction of licensed supervisors or contractors. The role involves preparing job sites, loading and unloading equipment, maintaining vehicles and tools in safe working condition, and following all safety and regulatory requirements. The Applicator also communicates clearly with clients and team members about treatment plans, service timelines, and any follow-up work required, while completing accurate service records and reports. You are working 30-40 hours a week for this role.
Qualifications
- Valid California Termite Applicator license and driver license.
- Knowledge of termite species, wood-destroying organisms, and standard inspection and treatment methods.
- Experience working with hand and power tools, including drilling, trenching, and basic wood repair support.
- Ability to read and follow service orders, inspection diagrams, and written treatment instructions.
- Strong attention to safety, including proper handling, mixing, and application of pesticides and protective equipment.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with homeowners, property managers, and real estate professionals.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, crawling, and climbing ladders.
- Reliable transportation to the Newbury Park, CA location, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record (for roles involving company vehicles).
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in termite control, pest control, or construction is required.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
