The Tennessee Dough Boys Southern Pizzeria & Biscuit House is looking for an experienced baker who loves working from scratch, takes pride in doing things the right way, and isn’t afraid of a little flour on their shirt.
We’re building something special in Springfield—a lively, welcoming neighborhood restaurant known for big biscuits, fresh breads, pizza dough, pastries, desserts, and plenty of Southern personality. What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing and baking biscuits, breads, pastries, desserts, and other baked goods
- Mixing doughs and batters according to established recipes
- Preparing pizza dough and other scratch-made products
- Producing consistent, high-quality items every day
- Organizing daily production and completing prep efficiently
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
- Assisting with inventory, ingredient rotation, and kitchen organization
- Working closely with the rest of the team to keep production running smoothly
- Helping us develop a bakery program that Springfield can be proud of
What We’re Looking For
- Professional baking or kitchen experience is required
- Comfortable working with doughs, batters, ovens, and commercial kitchen equipment
- Able to lift and carry 50-pound bags of flour
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Dependable, punctual, and ready to work
- Able to follow recipes, production schedules, and systems accurately
- Familiar with food safety and sanitation standards
- Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Pride in making great food and doing the little things well
