We are seeking a Junior Paralegal with 3–5 years of experience to join our dynamic compliance and legal support team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about immigration law, regulatory compliance, and supporting a fast-paced workforce environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications, including TN-2, H-1B1, and I-129 petitions.
• Support compliance with USMCA, USCIS, and Department of Labor regulations.
• Draft and review employment agreements, addenda, NDAs, and related HR/legal documents.
• Conduct legal research on U.S. immigration policies, DOT/SOC classifications, and workforce regulations.
• Maintain case files, visa trackers, and compliance spreadsheets for accuracy and deadlines.
• Liaise with employees, HR, and government agencies to ensure smooth processing of petitions and renewals.
• Provide administrative and legal support to senior paralegals, HR, and leadership.
• Assist in preparing training materials and SOPs for compliance processes.
Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; paralegal certification required.
• Experience: 3–5 years of paralegal experience, with emphasis in immigration, employment law, or corporate compliance.
• Familiarity with USCIS forms and processes (e.g., I-129, DS-160, I-9) and visa categories (TN-2, H-1B1).
• Strong organizational and case management skills; detail-driven.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to draft clear legal correspondence.
• Ability to manage multiple petitions and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with case management tools or immigration tracking software a plus.
