Responsibilities
- Lead the overall management of the childcare center, including staff supervision, curriculum implementation, and compliance with licensing regulations.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, ensuring excellent communication and customer service.
- Train, and support teaching staff to deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for children.
- Oversee daily operations such as enrollment processes, safety protocols, and facility maintenance.
- Monitor educational programs to ensure they meet state standards and promote early learning best practices.
- Manage administrative tasks including record keeping, and reporting requirements.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages professional growth and continuous improvement.
- EEC Director II Certification is required.
- Higher education teaching experience or background in early childhood education is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in education administration or managing a childcare or preschool center.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff while maintaining high standards of care and education.
- Experience working with young children and understanding their developmental needs.
- Familiarity with licensing requirements, safety regulations, and quality assurance standards in early childhood settings.
- Prior university experience or involvement in educational institutions is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills combined with excellent communication abilities to engage both staff and families effectively.
- Bilingual abilities (English and Spanish) are a strong plus.
