The Material Handler at The Technology House is responsible for performing functions relating to material handling and inventory control. The position works closely with Operations, Purchasing, and Shipping to delivery parts in a timely manner and maintain inventory efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities require attention to detail, problem solving skills, time management, and communication. The Material Handler will temporarily perform the responsibilities of the Shipping amp; Receiving Associate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with inventory management preferred
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
- Experience with material handling preferred
- Experience with tow motors preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds frequently and over 50 pounds with equipment
- Ability to perform bending, push/pull, and leaning tasks
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail skills
- Time management and organization skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
