Part Time Lead Sales Associate — The Teal Box
We’re looking for a dependable, experienced retail lead who can help keep the shop running smoothly, support an upbeat friendly vibe, support sales, and contribute positively to the day-to-day flow of the store.
This role is best suited for someone who takes great pride in their work with a strong work ethic, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and stays engaged with both customers and daily operations. A consistently welcoming presence on the sales floor is essential. We’re looking for someone who wants to contribute to the success of a small business by supporting the owner, staying involved, and paying close attention to the details that keep the shop running smoothly. We’re a work hard/play hard store, meaning we expect strong work ethic, initiative, and the ability to keep up with the energy of the shop.
What you’ll do
- Provide proactive customer service and help shoppers find great gifts
- Open and/or close the shop according to procedures
- Keep the store stocked, tidy, and visually inviting throughout your shift
- Support inventory flow and day-to-day operations
- Communicate clearly about what’s happening during your shifts
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 4 years retail experience in a lead or keyholder role
- An upbeat, welcoming personality to match our store vibe and very comfortable engaging with customers
- Someone who takes initiative and notices what needs doing
- Strong attention to detail and pride in their work
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Someone who wants to contribute to the success of a small business
- Someone who can work independently
- Weekend work is required
