• Can read a room and banter with customers when appropriate

• Understand that tone, body language, and energy matter
• Are detail-focused and notice when something is off
• Can follow policies, procedures, and systems consistently
• Can multitask without chaos
• Take accountability when mistakes happen
• Show up on time, put together, and ready to represent the brand

Retail or customer-facing experience is required (or very strongly preferred).
This is not a “first job” training ground.

This Role Is NOT a Fit If You:

• Don’t like talking to people
• Avoid eye contact or engagement
• Need constant reminders for basic responsibilities
• Struggle to follow written or verbal procedures
• Are frequently late, inconsistent, or unreliable
• Don’t want to work weekends
• Treat retail like it’s casual or optional

• Think “good enough” is acceptable

What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating a memorable customer experience from hello to goodbye
• Engaging customers with warmth, humor, and personality
• Running Shopify POS accurately (counting items is required)
• Maintaining a clean, organized, welcoming store
• Following opening and closing procedures
• Light merchandising and restocking
• Supporting the overall energy, standards, and vibe of The Teal Box

Schedule (Consistency Required)

This position requires reliable weekend availability:

• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Monday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Retail hours may fluctuate slightly with foot traffic. Flexibility is part of the job.

Pay

• $17.13/hour during the probationary period
