Duties
- Actively promote and sell a diverse range of tea products to wholesale stores, cafes, and direct customers through engaging presentations and product knowledge
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by providing excellent service, product knowledge, and personalized recommendations
- Manage route driving efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards on the road
- Conduct weekly inventory and inventory controls
- Conduct merchandising activities to ensure attractive product displays that maximize sales potential
- Assist customers with their purchases, upselling premium teas and accessories to enhance their experience
- Handle moderate to heavy lifting involved in stocking shelves, loading deliveries, and setting up displays with organizational precision
- Study basic tea knowledge and blending of custom blends
Skills
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey product benefits and build rapport with diverse customers
- Proficiency in sales techniques, including upselling and cross-selling to increase revenue opportunities
- Knowledge of pricing strategies and basic math skills for accurate transactions and inventory management
- Excellent organizational skills to manage deliveries, stock levels, and merchandising setups efficiently
- Customer service orientation focused on creating positive shopping experiences
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during stock replenishment and display setup
- Familiarity with merchandising standards to enhance product visibility and appeal
- Demostrate ability to work with a team and self manage
- Maintain levels of cleanliness and sanitation according to Board Of Health standards
