Position Summary
The Internal Sales Associate partners with TCW’s Regional Sales Consultants (external wholesalers) to source, develop and enhance financial advisor relationships in the National & Independent Broker-Dealer channels, RIAs, and Family Offices. They will communicate with financial professionals on a wide range of investment related topics including: portfolio process & philosophy, positioning, outlook, performance, risk metrics and related capital market developments. This position provides the opportunity to develop investment management sales skills in a dynamic and team-oriented environment. Overtime, the Internal Sales Associate will receive increasing sales responsibilities in an effort to enhance territory coverage and net new business.
Essential Duties
- Partner with external wholesalers to optimize and grow territory coverage and market share
- Proactively engage with financial advisors via phone and other digital means to build relationships, educate them on TCW’s investment solutions and raise net new assets.
- Provide timely market perspectives, sales literature, analytics and service deliverables
- Implement periodic sales and marketing campaigns
- Actively participate in ongoing professional development and training
- Participate in periodic travel to support advisor relationships & marketing initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business or finance related major preferred
- Minimum of 2 years Sales experience, preferably within financial services
- Series 7 & 63 Licenses (or attained within first 90 days)

Estimated Compensation:
Base Salary: For a CA / MA based position, the base salary range is $75k to $85k. This is an anticipated range only.
Other Compensation: Eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus
