Job Summary
This position involves working in the food processing plant, train to work in one or more production areas, including daily meat handling, slicing, and packing. The ideal candidate must be able to understand and communicate in English in order to follow production instructions, safety protocols, and effectively communicate with supervisors and team members as required by job duties.
Essential Responsibilities
- Handle and prepare meat products for slicing, cooking, or packaging, following established production procedures.
- Operate equipment related to meat processing.
- Portion and arrange products based on company standards and product specifications.
- Monitor product quality and consistency during processing and report any issues to the line lead or supervisor.
- Follow all safety protocols and production guidelines to ensure a consistent and efficient workflow.
- Maintain an organized and efficient work area to support timely production goals.
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets
Education Required
- High school diploma.
Other Requirements
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English in order to follow production instructions, safety protocols, and effectively communicate with supervisors and team members as required by job duties.
- Must be a US Citizen or a Green card holder authorized to work in the United States.
- Must purchase steel or composite-toed safety boots. Must be worn at all times.
- Conscientious, dedicated, and committed to excellence.
- Proficient with or the ability to learn HR timekeeping software.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintains confidentiality; ensures that the firm complies with Federal and State laws and regulations.
