Tarot Reader / Retail Sales Associate

Calling All Tarot Readers and Crystal Lovers!!!!! The Tarot Den is Hawaii’s premiere Metaphysical Studio and Boutique. We offer a variety of crystals, jewelry & accessories, tarot cards, cleansing and charging tools, men’s and women’s clothing, in addition to providing services such as Tarot Reading, Reiki and Crystal Therapy, and Photography, just to name a few.

We are looking for a “Rockstar” Tarot Reader / Sales Associate who vibrates at a high level, radiates positive energy, has a pleasant and calm demeanor, and has a passion and knowledge in one of the many areas in the metaphysical space. We are looking for someone who pays attention to detail, is reliable, dependable, honest, responsible, and can lead by example.

Job Description:
The Tarot Reader / Sales Associate position responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answering their questions about our products and services, and recommending the right solutions. As a Tarot Reader, you should be highly intuitive, honest, caring and compassionate, with experience in reading tarot. As a Sales Associate, you should also be able to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. To be successful in this position, you should stay up to date with new products and features, maintain the store’s visual appearance with exceptionally high standards, and give excellent customer service while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.

• Knowledge of the healing properties of crystals is a strong bonus
• Experienced Tarot reader is another strong bonus
• Superior customer service skills with the ability to provide a high level of customer satisfaction
• Assess customer needs and help provide information on products and services
• Meet sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis by actively seeking out customers and using sales methods such as up-selling and cross-selling
• Maintain stock and preserve presentable conditions in assigned areas
• Update and manage online and in-store inventory in our inventory system and comply with inventory control procedures
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered by reviewing product training guides and learning from the staff trainer, managers, and/or coworkers
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases and exchanges as instructed
• Build useful relationships with co-workers and be a team player
• Provide assistance to the company’s service practitioners, photographers, and consultants

Physical Requirements:
This position requires constant standing, walking with occasional stooping, reaching, kneeling, and crouching / squatting. Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 20 pounds should be expected, and may include occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 40 pounds as needed.

• 1099 Independent Contractor

Pay:

• $15.00/Hourly (Sales Associate); TBD (Tarot Reader)

Shift:

• Part-time, 4-hour shift; Full-time, 8-hour shift
• Day shift; Night shift
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent (Required)
• Some College (Preferred)
