POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Brewery Sales Representative role is responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong relationships with hospitality partners, and representing the brewery brand in the market with professionalism and enthusiasm. This position requires a motivated, organized, and relationship-driven individual who thrives in both sales and hospitality environments. You will be an integral part of expanding the brewery’s presence while ensuring product quality, brand consistency, and exceptional service to all accounts.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
· Approach all interactions and communications with accounts, guests, and team members in an attentive, courteous, and service-oriented manner
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with bars, restaurants, retail accounts, and hospitality partners
· Leverage existing relationships within Ventura County bars and restaurants to drive sales and brand placement opportunities
· Actively pursue new on-premise and off-premise accounts to expand distribution and brand reach
· Regularly visit accounts to ensure product satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional placements
· Conduct tastings, samplings, and staff trainings to educate customers and partners on brewery products
· Represent the brewery at offsite events, festivals, and promotional activations
· Provide accounts with promotional materials and ensure proper brand visibility and placement
· Assist accounts with draft system best practices and ensure product quality standards are upheld
· Communicate pricing updates, product availability, and seasonal releases to accounts
· Maintain compliance with all Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) regulations
· Submit invoices, collect payments, and track account activity using company systems
· Coordinate with the Head Brewer and operations team on inventory levels and sales forecasts
· Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and new business opportunities
· Maintain high standards of personal appearance and professional conduct
· Maximize productivity while maintaining a strong focus on relationships and brand integrity
· Effectively handle problems, anticipate needs, and provide solutions in a timely manner
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and account information
· Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating account or operational needs
· Perform other related duties as requested by management and/or that supports the team
· Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
· 2 years of experience in beverage sales, hospitality, or craft beer industry preferred
· Existing relationships and network within Ventura County bars, restaurants, and hospitality community strongly preferred
· Strong knowledge of craft beer, brewing processes, and flavor profiles preferred
· Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
· Experience conducting tastings, trainings, and promotional events
· Working knowledge of systems such as QuickBooks and Beer30 preferred
· Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
· Ability to meet and exceed sales goals and performance targets
· Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel between accounts
· Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and events
· Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
· Ability to represent the brand with professionalism, energy, and confidence
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to communicate effectively with management, accounts, guests, and staff.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Must be able to stand and exert mobility for extended periods of time
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (cases of beer, kegs, promotional materials)
· Must be able to travel frequently between accounts and event locations
· Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing and visual accuracies
· Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment and systems

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the restaurant. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
