Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of banquet operations, including set-up, service, and breakdown
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production and delivery
- Manage banquet staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure that all banquet events are executed according to the customer expectations
- Collaborate with event planners and clients to verify all event details
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in bartending, hotel catering, or banquet management is required
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques and beverage service standards
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in computer software applications related to banquet operations
Note: Assistant Manager experience is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
