About the Mobile Grooming Vehicle

For your first few months, the grooming vehicle will be picked up and returned to our Town ’n’ Country home base, where we handle towels, laundry, restocking, and other behind-the-scenes support.

Once you're established with the team and comfortable with the routine, there may be an opportunity to keep the grooming vehicle at your home, making your workday even more convenient.

Our goal is to let you enjoy the independence of mobile grooming without having to run the entire business yourself.

What You’ll Do

• Groom dogs of various breeds, sizes, coat types, and temperaments
• Bathe, brush, de-shed, fluff, dry, clip, and scissor
• Trim nails and clean ears
• Check and express anal glands when appropriate
• Follow client grooming requests and provide high-quality finished grooms
• Provide a calm, safe, and positive experience for every dog
• Notice and communicate concerns such as fleas, ticks, cysts, sores, skin irritation, or other abnormalities
• Communicate professionally and warmly with clients
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, organized, and safe grooming vehicle

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of professional dog grooming experience
• Experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, coats, and grooming styles
• Confident working independently
• Calm, patient, and compassionate with animals
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Friendly and professional with clients
• Reliable and punctual
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Comfortable driving and working in a mobile grooming unit
• Available a minimum of 3 workdays per week
• Comfortable completing approximately 5 dogs during a full workday

Previous mobile grooming experience is preferred, but NOT required. Experienced salon groomers interested in transitioning into mobile grooming are encouraged to apply.
