Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
Supervisor: Supporting SLP
Schedule: Traditional school calendar
Work Location: In-person, school-based

Essential Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group speech-language therapy under the direction of a licensed SLP
- Assist with screenings and evaluations as directed
- Administer routine speech/language assessments with proper training
- Implement evidence-based treatment plans developed by supervising SLP
- Document student progress and communicate updates to supervising SLP
- Assist with assessment preparation, documentation, and clerical tasks
- Support behavior management strategies as instructed
- Maintain therapy materials, equipment, and organized therapy spaces
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development
- Complete documentation and billing components efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a positive, collaborative attitude aligned with TALK’s culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders / Speech-Language Pathology
- SLPA coursework and certification
- Current California State SLPA license (Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensing Board)
- CPR/First Aid certification (renewed every 2 years)
- Completion of TALK onboarding requirements
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and interact physically with children as needed. Adequate vision and hearing to monitor verbal and nonverbal communication. Ability to model quality speech and language.

Pay: $40.00 - $52.19 per hour
