Medical-Surgical Nurse (RN)
Annual Salary : Estimated Pay Per Hour : $58
Location : Summit, NJ
Job Type : Travel, 8-week contract
Join the team as a Medical-Surgical Nurse. This role is essential for providing comprehensive nursing care in the medical-surgical unit, supporting patients with a variety of health conditions. The position requires an RN with robust experience in medical-surgical settings and the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of patients.
Day-to-day of the role :
Work shifts are from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM, 3x12 hour shifts.
Provide direct patient care activities in support of patient care delivery and the team concept.
Perform thorough assessments that are systematic, comprehensive, and accurate.
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of the nursing process and patient’s progress toward meeting outcomes.
Engage in patient education and ensure understanding of surgical procedures and instructions.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
Required certifications : BLS.
Must have an active RN license.
Proficiency in Epic and experience with patient documentation.
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
Benefits :
Competitive hourly rate of $58.
Travel package includes an hourly rate of $20, weekly stipend of $1386.07, resulting in a gross weekly pay of $2076.
Work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule.
Job Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical setting.
Required certifications : BLS.
Must have an active RN license.
Proficiency in Epic and experience with patient documentation.
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
