Duties
- Deliver engaging, level-appropriate swimming lessons following The Swim Studio curriculum.
- Teach proper swimming techniques, water safety practices, and confidence-building strategies.
- Track and evaluate swimmer progress, offering constructive feedback and tailored support.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for all participants.
- Collaborate with fellow coaches and staff to enhance program quality and student development.
- Use motivational techniques to foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding progress, goals, and concerns.
Qualifications
- Competitive swimming experience required.
- Prior swim coaching or swim instruction experience strongly preferred.
- Lifeguard certification is a plus.
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
- A genuine passion for swimming and a commitment to helping students grow and succeed.
