Job Summary:
We are seeking an outgoing, friendly and professional Concierge to join our team. As a Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for guests and will provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience during their stay. Your role will involve assisting guests with various inquiries, making reservations, upselling excursions and providing recommendations for local attractions and dining options.
Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Make reservations for dining, transportation, and entertainment
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain knowledge of current events and activities in the local area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and transportation options
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency in using computer systems for reservations and guest management
