Master Machinist

OPS Consulting is seeking an experienced Master Machinist to work in College Park, MD.

Required Experience: The master machinist shall fabricate equipment and other assemblies and provide other model shop services to advance research projects. Additional responsibilities will include:

• Manage and oversee shop resources.
• Fabricate equipment and assemblies required to advance research.
• Design, build, and maintain systems.
• Design, fabricate, and maintain specialized laboratory equipment.
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 10 years' experience conceptualizing, designing, and building apparatus for scientific research, to include programming and operation of CNC machines.

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00

Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
