Job Summary
We are hiring teachers for all ages! Teachers must be able to work either opening shift (starts at 7:15/7:30 am) OR closing shift (out by 5:45 pm). The number of total hours per week will be based on the age group the candidate prefers and on the candidate's availability.
Ideal candidates are dedicated and nurturing Childcare Providers to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children in a preschool setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and the ability to foster positive relationships with children and their families. This role involves supervising children, planning activities, and ensuring their well-being while promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide nurturing care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
- Assist with daily routines including meals, naps, and hygiene practices.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment for children.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with children to encourage their social skills.
Skills
- Experience in preschool settings or daycare environments is preferred.
- Previous experience in nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
- Ability to engage children in creative play and educational activities.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents alike.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
