Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Operations & Event Manager to oversee all aspects of event preparation, logistics, and execution. This individual will manage our storage facility and inventory, ensure event materials are packed and ready, drive and set up carts at events, and supervise on-site staff.
This is not a desk job — it’s a dynamic, physically active role for someone who takes pride in precision, presentation, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Preparation & Logistics
- Pack all necessary carts, décor, and equipment for events based on packing lists.
- Load and unload event equipment into trucks and vans safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all carts (Gelato, Churro, Coffee, Cotton Candy, etc.) are event-ready and clean.
- Maintain detailed checklists for pre- and post-event inventory tracking.
2. Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Organize and maintain the warehouse and storage facility in a clean, efficient, and visually appealing manner.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and coordinate replenishment of supplies (cups, napkins, toppings, décor, etc.).
- Track damaged or missing items and communicate with management for replacements.
3. Transportation & Event Setup
- Drive company vehicles/trucks to and from event venues (must have a valid driver’s license).
- Set up carts and displays according to brand standards and event requirements.
- Oversee event logistics including power, setup placement, and coordination with venue staff.
4. Staff Leadership & Client Interaction
- Supervise on-site staff to ensure smooth setup, service, and breakdown.
- Maintain a polished, high-end presence while interacting with clients and event guests.
- Communicate professionally with high-profile clientele and planners.
- Resolve on-site issues calmly and efficiently.
Schedule
- Full-time role averaging 40 hours per week.
- Hours vary depending on event schedules — early mornings, late evenings, and weekends may be required.
- Flexibility is essential.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in event logistics, hospitality, or warehouse operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Friendly, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
- Must be dependable, proactive, and eager to take ownership of tasks from start to finish.
Ideal Candidate
You’re a people person who thrives on structure and action. You take pride in your work, love seeing events come together, and can balance professionalism with hands-on involvement. You understand the importance of aesthetics, timing, and client experience — and you’re ready to grow with a company that’s making a name for itself in luxury event experiences.
