Duties
- Assist lead teachers in developing and implementing curriculum plans that incorporate early intervention, literacy education, and Montessori methods to support diverse learning needs.
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior management strategies and fostering a safe, inclusive environment for children.
- Engage with children during activities such as physical education, arts and crafts, storytelling, and play to promote social skills and emotional well-being.
- Help with daily childcare routines including toddler care, diapering, feeding, and nap times to ensure comfort and safety.
- Contribute to lesson planning by preparing educational materials aligned with childhood development milestones and standardized testing requirements.
- Support children’s individual needs through tutoring or extra assistance in subjects like math or literacy as directed by lead teachers.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, behavior, and welfare updates.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, special education strategies, and behavior management techniques is essential.
- Experience with classroom management tools and lesson planning in preschool or private school environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, Montessori methods, or early intervention programs will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, children, and families are required.
- Previous experience with standardized testing preparation or tutoring young learners is a plus.
