Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while efficiently managing their orders and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS systems.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience.
- Upsell additional items to increase sales while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns effectively to foster positive guest relations.
- Maintain knowledge of fine dining etiquette and service standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
