Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Food Preparation: Chop, slice, and prepare vegetables, meats, and fruits for cooking or service.
- Service & Cooking: Prepare sandwiches, salads, and simple hot foods; serve food to customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer Service: Greet customers, answer menu questions, and process orders/payments.
- Sanitation: Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils according to health regulations.
- Inventory Control: Stock service stations, rotate food items, and store products at correct temperatures.
Job Requirements
- Physical Strength: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20-50 pounds.
- Certification: Often requires a food handler's permit/safety certification.
- Flexibility: Availability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
