Montessori Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher

The Suzuki School is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our Montessori community! If you love working with young children and enjoy being part of a hardworking, collaborative team, we would love to meet you.

Our Infant Program serves children ages 3 months to 12 months while our Toddler Program serves children ages 10 months to 24 months. We aim to provide a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where our youngest learners can thrive.

Schedule:

Applicants must be able to work Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM.

Assistant Responsibilities

• Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained, Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers;
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy;
• Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed;
• Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment;
• Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health, and care of students.

Qualifications:
-Passion for working with infants/toddlers and early childhood education
-Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
-Strong communication and collaboration skills
-Previous infant or early childhood experience preferred
