What are the responsibilities and job description for the Renewables Project Finance Associate position at The Sustainable Partnership?
A growing, well-capitalised developer-operator in the renewable energy and storage space is hiring a Finance Associate into a small, high-impact team in Houston.
This is a modelling-first seat. You'll build and own project- and corporate-level models supporting M&A, corporate development, financings and strategy, working closely with the deal, development and strategy teams rather than sitting off to one side. Expect real transaction exposure, direct contact with senior leadership, and ownership from day one.
What we're looking for:
- Two years or so in a numbers-heavy seat, investment banking, project finance, M&A, lev-fin, restructuring, infrastructure, or transaction advisory
- Genuinely strong modelling. This is the core of the role and the thing we'll test for
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, deal-driven environment
- Sector experience is a plus but not required. We care more about how you build a model than what logo it was built under. Tax equity exposure welcome but very much trainable
