As a Dishwasher at The Surf Shack, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and stays spotless. Your responsibilities will include:

• Dishwashing: Operate commercial dishwashers and hand-wash pots, pans, and kitchen tools.
• Sanitation: Maintain clean, sanitized dishes, utensils, and glassware to meet high hygiene standards.
• Cleaning: Keep kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, and occasionally restrooms or parking lots clean and tidy.
• Waste Management: Remove garbage, manage recycling, and break down boxes to keep the space organized.
• Support: Assist kitchen staff with food prep or restocking dishes when needed.
• Equipment Maintenance: Monitor dish machine water temperature and promptly report any issues.

We’re searching for someone with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed in this role:

• Experience: At least 1 year of dishwashing or similar experience.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours in a hot, humid environment.
• Strength: Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds as part of your daily tasks.
• Attention to Detail: A focus on cleanliness and hygiene is a must.
• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Schedule Flexibility: Available to work evenings 5 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
