Position: VDC Project Manager
Reports to: Director, VDC
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range: $100,000 - $125,000

Superior is looking for a highly motivated and organized VDC Project Manager to join our fast-paced team. This position will work on several innovative and exciting projects in a variety of market sectors including data centers, higher education, healthcare, enterprise, and industrial projects. This role is based at our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead BIM project teams (modelers, VDC coordinators/designers, and BIM managers), providing clear guidance on scope, deliverables, and timelines
- Own all BIM project deliverables per contract, including 2D layouts, 3D coordinated models, prefabrication sheets, and install drawings
- Ensure high-quality BIM output and compliance with the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout
- Manage project finances, including budget tracking, cost control, and change orders
- Chair project meetings and provide regular updates to customers
- Review estimates, design drawings, specifications, and BIM execution plans
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Project Operations, and Field teams to ensure alignment
- Uphold and evolve departmental BIM standards
- Build client trust through responsive communication, strong collaboration, and proactive problem-solving

Your Expertise
- Required: You earned an Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Required: You have at least 3 years of experience in VDC/BIM, including Bluebeam, Navisworks, Revit, and shop drawings
- Required: You have at least 5 years of experience in commercial project management or construction management
- Required: You have at least 7 years of experience working as a consulting electrical engineer/designer or field electrician
