About Us
The Sundance School is a growing PreK–8 independent school focused on creativity, project-based learning, and whole-child development.
We are currently expanding our Warren campus and entering an exciting growth and development phase. We are looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Recruiting Coordinator to support our hiring efforts and help build our team.
Position Overview
This is a part-time, on-site role (2 days per week) focused on recruiting coordination and scheduling, with additional support for basic office operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, organization, and being part of a growing school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Coordination (Primary Focus)
- Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate availability
- Communicate with candidates via email and phone
- Track candidate progress and maintain organized records
- Support hiring across multiple roles (teachers, staff, and campus support roles)
Administrative & Office Support
- Organize documents, files, and basic records
- Assist with data tracking and updates
- Support day-to-day office coordination
Front Desk & Communication
- Welcome visitors, vendors, and candidates
- Provide a professional and friendly first point of contact
- Support basic communication needs
Growth & Development Phase
As our campus is currently in a growing and development phase, this role will also support recruiting coordination across a variety of positions, including school staff and campus setup or facility support roles.

Qualifications
Required:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized
- Reliable, proactive, and responsible
Preferred (not required):
- Prior recruiting, coordination, or administrative experience
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (Google Calendar, Excel, etc.)
- Experience using platforms like really
- Bilingual (English Chinese) is a plus
Schedule
- 2 days per week (weekdays)
- Approximately 6–8 hours per day
- Flexible scheduling based on availability
Compensation
- $22 – $26 per hour (based on experience)
Introductory Period
This role begins with a 90-day introductory period, with the opportunity to transition into a long-term position based on performance and overall fit.
