Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role based in Hummelstown, PA for a General Assignment Reporter. The reporter will cover a wide range of topics, from local government and community events to human-interest stories and breaking news. Responsibilities include researching and writing articles, conducting interviews, and attending local meetings or events as needed. The role also entails creating multimedia content to complement reports and engaging with audiences through various platforms.
Qualifications
- Strong Reporting, Journalism, and Storytelling skills to present accurate and compelling news content.
- Proficiency in Writing and the ability to create clear, engaging, and concise content.
- Experience in working with Multimedia tools and platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills for conducting interviews and sourcing reliable information.
- Familiarity with local and community reporting is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
