The Summit Club of Armonk is seeking experienced, full-time Seasonal Food Truck Kitchen Helper to join our team for the upcoming season. As a soon-to-be full-service, family-oriented club, we provide exclusive facilities to members with permanent Golf, Sports, or Social Memberships.
We are looking for skilled food and beverage professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy varied service opportunities. This seasonal position runs from April through October and involves working from multiple club locations, including an on-site food truck, outdoor dining pavilion, snack stations, and on-course food and beverage delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items for various club dining locations, ensuring high-quality food presentation and taste.
- Establish daily preparation needs
- Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients, including meats and vegetables.
- Execute essential cooking tasks, with a focus on sandwiches, salads, and other quick-service dishes.
- Serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen, including dishwashing and workstation sanitation.
- Properly store food and kitchen supplies while adhering to all food safety regulations.
- Deliver food and beverages to members at designated club locations.
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and club policies to ensure a secure working environment.
- Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned by management.
- Putting away food deliveries and drink deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of or experience in working in a food truck required.
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
- Cash handling and POS operations experience necessary.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and handle food safely.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Willingness to work overtime based on business needs.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to engage with members, coworkers, and management.
- Adherence to The Summit Club of Armonk’s standards, policies, and safety procedures at all times.
