The Suites at Elmbrook, an esteemed Assisted Living community in Ardmore, Oklahoma, is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our compassionate team. As a Certified Medication Aide at The Suites at Elmbrook, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our residents in a supportive and enriching environment. This position is for NIGHT SHIFT, Friday and Saturday, 10p-6a. You are required to have a CMA or MAT certification as well as a CNA license.
- Administer medications to residents following the prescribed treatment plans with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulations.
- Provide compassionate patient care, particularly focusing on dementia care and catheter care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for residents.
- Support a safe and nurturing environment for residents in need of assisted living services.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medication Aide.
-Certification as a CNA.
- Proficiency in medication administration and adherence to protocols.
- Experience in medical office or home care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
